Right or Wrong?
The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks
Even though I have just started this book there is already a character who doesn't quiet seem normal. His name is Thibault and he is French but has lived in America his whole life. He was an army brat until about age 15 when his dad died two years after retiring form the marines. Thibault knew he wanted I good education and follow in his fathers footsteps so he went to Colorado University and the enrolled in the Marines. He went to training and then was sent off. While serving in the Marines he found an odd picture of a girl with a shirt that said 'lucky lady' on it. He figured that it was someone's and put it on the bulletin board and no one took the picture. After a while he took the picture for him self and put it in his pocket. He went to play picker with some friends and he won pretty much every game and at that point he knew it was all because of the picture. Years later he still has the picture in his pocket, and he still a very lucky because of it. Do you think it was right for him to keep the picture or do you think he should have left there for the owner to fine? I'm assuming the picture will have a much larger roll in the book as I progress through the book and it will bring him more luck, unless he looses it of course. Tell me if you think he made the right or wrong decision below.
