After I finished reading The Lucky One (which is an amazing book by the way- you should read it) I decided to take a break from Nicholas Sparks books- I know its crazy, I never thought I would say those words. I chose to read Si-Cology by Si Robertson (with Mark Schlabach) I know what your thinking, how do you go from Sparks books to books about people from the A&E hit TV show Duck Dynasty. Well I will tell you. My family (mostly my sister, my dad and myself) all love the show duck dynasty and all of the people on the show- we especially love Si. I had put this book on my Christmas list and when I opened up it I was the happiest girl in the world at the time (I know its weird) its my favorite present I got for Christmas- hard to believe right? well its true. I even started reading it that night. So far I love the book because it sounds exactly like Si and all of his catch phrases he uses, for example "Hey!" "Hey Jack" now in his book he even says (which he says on the show too- if you have seen it) "Hey can mean anything. It can mean yes, it can mean maybe and it can mean no. Hey, it could mean next week. The bottom line is, you have to understand "Hey" to understand me."
I have never watched Duck Dynasty on T.V but I know that many people like it. I have also never heard of this book but it sounds kind of interesting. I'm curious to know what the actual book is about, and is it relative to the show?
ReplyDeleteI have never heard abou this book before and it sounds really interesting. I have never watched duck dynasty but I really need to start watching it. This is not the type of book I usually go for but I might try it.
